ok, I understand. One questions more, the minimun voltage limit is 10 V?

No, 10 volts minimum constant current is for silver.  Use constant voltage of at least 30 volts for gold.

I'm doing the colloidal gold but I have one problem, the current source marks 0.38 A. How time is necessary to make it?

There is no specific time.  You just run the process until you get no more color change.

Where can you purchase 0.999 gold wire?  All I see is 14 K gold wire.

I already gave you two sources.  Get enough to put at least two inches in the water.  Remember, you won't be able to use it all, so a longer length is more efficient.  However, you don't need to put it all in the water at once.  Unlike silver, a bigger anode is not helpful.

Was it red, and then turned yellow?
Yellow is the color of gold chloride, what you get when the gold is not reduced.
Did you add sodium carbonate?
