Make CS with One 9-Volt
Battery and the MKII Generator
In this video, I demonstrate how to make 250ml of 20ppm Colloidal
Silver with a single 9 volt battery, the MKII generator (current
regulator), a tiny amount of sodium hydroxide, and cinnamon extract.
As well as being used as a drain cleaner, sodium hydroxide is a common
chemical used in food processing. It is what gives pretzels their
crunchy brown skin for instance.
The procedure starts with 250ml of boiling hot distilled water.
6 drops of 1 Molar sodium hydroxide is added1
0.5ml of cinnamon extract2 is added to the water.
The electrodes are inserted and powered.
The process is timed for 5.5 minutes.
The electrodes are then removed.
Done.
1) A 1 molar solution of sodium hydroxide is made by dissolve 4 grams
of sodium hydroxide in enough water to make 100 ml.
Alternatively, a level teaspoon of hydroxide dissolved in 5 ounces of
water will also work. The amount is determined by a milliammeter
connected in series with one of the electrodes. Hydroxide is
added drop by drop until the current reachs the set point of the
regulator, 14ma in this case.
2) The cinnamon extract was made by soaking 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
powder
in 100ml of cheap vodka. The cinnamon was placed in the center of
a
coffee filter and the sides folded up and tied to make a "tea
bag".
The cinnamon bag was soaked for 24 hours.
