I have been making 1-2 quarts a day to treat one of my horses. I make it with the silvertron elite. Before the end solution would be a mild yellow color. My last two batches are dark grey. I have probably made around 50 quarts and haven't had a problem. So I am not sure what would have changed. I have it at the same settings. 80ppm, 1 Ma, quart M. My rods before would come out black on one and light grey on the other. Now they are both black.

FIrst, check you solutions. Have you made new electrolyte?
-
I don't use an electrolyte. Just plain distilled water.
-
Well something is surely different. The grey is large crystals of silver/silver oxide. I would check your distilled water then.
Also, what does the current and voltmeter read when making a batch?
-
I finished my last quart this afternoon and it looks perfect. I don't know what happened. I started with a fresh jug of distilled water. Maybe my water was suspect? Anyway, if it happens again. I will let you know. Can I use those dark quarts or should I chunk them. The horse gets one quart a day.

Right now ma =1 and Volts = 11.

The gray stuff isn't any good, so discard it.
