Ok Folks, Here is how it all came out.
320 PPM Karo Reduced, Gelatin Capped Colloidal Silver
* 1 gram Knox gelatin sprinkled on top of 500ml beaker filled with cold DW. Let sit 5 minutes then
turned on mag stirrer w/heat.
While waiting for solution to heat to 60 Celsius & clear up, the following was added:
* 15 Drops 1 Molar Baked Baking Soda Electrolyte was added
* 12 Drops 50/50 Karo/DW Reducer was added
After 60 C was reached. Electrolysis was started with the ST Elite set at 10ma & 12V & 360 ppm:
* Suspended at 1 hour in to Fire Clean Anode & Cathode
* Suspended at 2 hours in to Fire Clean Anode & Cathode
* Suspended at 3 hours in to Fire Clean Anode & Cathode
The ST Elite finished at about 4 hours. Pulled anode & cathode out. Left on stirrer to cool down.
NEXT
On the 250 ml batch:
* The gelatin, electrolyte & reducer was exactly the same as the 500ml batch with the exception
of taking less time & it ended up boiling twice.
* I didn't have the lab partial immersion thermometer. Which is cheap insurance & really a must have.
* The anode was quite a bit darker each of the 2 times that it was fire cleaned. I guess to
much electrolyte.
* There seems to be no effects on the final solution. They are both very close in color & clearness.
Any & all comments, suggestions, questions & corrections are welcome. If the pic don't show up I will
try again.
