I would like to combine my dropper bottle of 50/50 Karo solution with my soda ash solution bottle. Can you think of any drawbacks?

I have tried it and the reaction appears the same, with the same final color.

After a few days the mixture does turn a light golden color, appears to work the same.

thanks

A 20 ppm reduced Colloidal Silver one litre batch requires 20 drops of the electrolyte bottle but only two drops of  the corn syrup bottle. A 250 ml batch of 320 ppm requires equal amounts of electrolyte and corn syrup so I don't see how you can combine the two bottles if you plan on making different types of batches.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, but I am talking about making colloidal gold from gold chloride, not making colloidal silver. The same number of drops are used of each so could be combined.

My question deals with the chemistry of adding the two together.

thanks
